Doctor Updates

Let's see, I went back to the doc last Wednesday, okay so I'm a little late in posting.....we've been busy!! Just keep reading....

Okay Mommy went to the doc on Wednesday, I'm 6 1/2 months pregnant and only put on 8 lbs! Doc says the baby is healthy and strong, heartbeat is strong and all is going smooth for a Sept 30th delivery! Phew, only 3 more months!! Then toward the end of last week we had some upsets at work, and the doc now has me off work at least for the next week. A "Stress leave" for lack of a better phrase! So I go back to the doc on the 7th of July and see if she will have me go back to work or stay at home for a little bit! I'll keep you posted, but in the meantime I am just thrilled to be home with Thomas!!

So we are busy trying to get a house....we've bid on several, and nothing! So of course the one that I am just in love with, we are hoping we can get, so keep your fingers crossed! We could use all the hopes and prayers you have to offer, we should know something in a couple of weeks!!

We took Thomas to the races again on Saturday night, we saw the motorcycles this time. He had a great time until...the dreaded teething got in the way! His 1st year molars are trying to come in and boy is he having problems with that! So let's hope they come in soon and quit bothering him! But he seemed to have fun anyway. Then on Sunday we went to Aunt Maxine's house, and boy did he have fun there! Mommy's camera didn't have any juice or we would have gotten some great pics! He saw a pig for the 1st time, and 2 goats, a roster and a ton of doggies! Aunt Maxine's neighbors have the farm animals!

He also got to meet a few cousins he didn't know he had, Troy and Trace, and Trace's son Tony! We had to say goodbye to Uncle Bob, he left to go back to Lousianna after a long visit after the funeral! And he got to see Grandma S! Boy was that fun! Trace pulled out a pool for him to goof around it, and he sure had fun with that!! Hopefully we'll see them all again real soon! And maybe get to meet Troy's gang of kids too! Only person who wasn't there was Aunt Tami....for reasons we'll leave undisclosed because it's almost funny! haha (Sorry Aunt Tami, it had to be said!)

In other news, Thomas wants to send out a big Happy Birthday to Emme, his cousin down in Texas, she turned 1 on the 29th of June!! So Happy Birthday Emme, hope you had a great time!!

So as you can see we've been awful busy, but I'll try to get a couple of pics posted in this next week as we will be busy playing and relaxing and visiting friends and family!!

In Loving Memory

Some sad news, Thomas' Great Grandma passed on June 11, 2008.

Maxine Elizabeth Campbell, 1921-2008

Although he won't remember her, we will remember him with her. Oh how he made her smile!

New Ultrasound pics

We had another ultrasound today. This baby (name still unknown) looks just like Thomas did, and looks like he'll be big just like Thomas was as well. There will be no denying that they are brothers!

We started the appointment by the tech asking me if we knew the sex, that way if we didn't and we didn't want to know she wouldn't give anything away. I said yes, last time you told us it was a boy, but the umbilical cord was in between his legs, so Grandma was thinking that today you'll say "Opps, it's a girl". So that's the first thing she looked for and said Nope, no mistaken it's a boy, and he is not afraid to show you, so she gave us a 3D pic of the "boy parts" but we will spare you that pic HAHA

Everything is normal, He has all his parts, 4 chambers to his heart, and it's beating strong. They were concerned at the last ultrasound about cystic fibrosis, but it all came back looking normal this time! He is 1 lb and 4 oz thus far, and we still have 3 1/2 months to go!!! So I'll be watching my sugars to make sure he won't be bigger than Thomas.

We still don't have a name....we are working on it, and I am convinced this is why pregnancy lasts 10 months, so you can come up with a name! We will keep the middle name of James, that's Steven's middle name, and Thomas' middle name, might as well keep it in the family. We have come up with Christopher, Daniel, Collin, Seth, Jacob, and Joseph. My personal favorite is Christopher! Any other suggestions??? Come on now, we've only had a couple of brave souls who will suggest some names! Who knows, your personal favorite might just be one of ours!

My 1st Circus

Today Grandma took Thomas to his first circus!! It was mommy's 1st circus and daddy's 1st circus too! Despite it getting a little warm in the tent, it was a lot of fun, and Thomas was just in awe of everything. We got a couple of pics of him sitting on grandma's lap chewing on his light saber that daddy bought him and taking it all in. He especially liked the motorcycles in the cage!

More Birthday!!!

I guess birthday's go on as long as the presents keep coming!
Thomas got this really cool game in the mail from Aunt Rose and Kerry!! He loves it, he played and played and played....we took some video!! Thanks Aunt Rose and Kerry!

Random Pics

Memorial Weekend we went to the DAV for a BBQ and Thomas got to play on an old Fire truck! He had a great time!

Also I made reference to Grandma's fountain on his bday post, but never posted any pics of the fountain....so here is a shot of her fountain. It's not the best pic but it will have to do! Thomas loves to play in it, despite the fact that the water is cold. I think when he gets old enough he'll just climb right in!

This was just before Thomas' bday and Linda, a family friend, brought Thomas his very own rocking chair! He loves it. He is working on learning how to get out of it without taking a face plant! Thanks Linda!!
